§ 94.55 NOTIFICATION; TIME TO COMPLY; CIVIL PENALTIES.
   (A)   Abandoned manufactured homes, as defined previously, shall be prohibited.
   (B)   The owner of a property with an abandoned manufactured home shall be notified via first-class mail of potential violation of this chapter. An on-site meeting shall be scheduled and conducted to determine the status of the reported structure(s). If such structure(s) are found to be in violation, the owner will have a 30 day period to either remove or dismantle the structure. The Administrator may use discretion in granting an extension to this 30 day period if it is demonstrated that the offender is working in good faith to bring the violation into compliance.
   (C)   If the structure(s) is/are not brought into compliance within the 30 day period, then the Administrator may issue a civil penalty in the amount of $50 per day per vehicle for every day the violation continues to exist. Failure to pay civil penalties could result in a civil action by the town as well as other remedies as specified in Article 17 of the town’s Land Development Code (LDC).
