(A) Citations for violation of this chapter may be issued by the Fishers Police Department. Each violator of the restrictions and provisions of this chapter shall pay a fine to the city’s Ordinance Violations Bureau in the sum and amount set forth in § 36.08. If the violation is not paid, an enforcement action may be filed by the City Attorney’s office in the City Court.
(B) In addition thereto, whenever, in the opinion of the Police Department, a stopping, standing or parked vehicle in violation of the provisions of this chapter constitutes an immediate hazard to the safety of the citizens of the city, the Police Department may have said vehicle towed from such position of danger to a containment area and the expense of such towing and storage, if any, shall be borne by the registered owner of said vehicle.
