505.11 HUNTING PROHIBITED.

(a) No person shall hunt, kill or attempt to kill any animal or fowl by the use of firearms, bow and arrow, air rifle or any other means within the corporate limits of the Municipality.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. (A.O.)

(c) The Service-Safety Director is authorized to permit exceptions to 505.11(a) on property within the corporate limits of the Municipality for the practice of wildlife management. A permit shall be issued for a specific animal or fowl. The permit shall be specific to firearms, bow and arrow, and/or air rifle. The property upon which a permit is issued must clearly be delineated and written permission from the property owner for said hunting privileges shall be required.
