Under authority of Minnesota Statutes 462.354 there is hereby established an advisory Planning Commission to make recommendations to the Council for the future development of land so as to ensure a safer, more pleasant and more economical environment for residential, commercial, industrial and public activities and to promote the public health, safety, morals and general welfare.
