§ 32.110 RESIGNATION.
   (A)   Letter of resignation. A letter of resignation shall be given to the department head, with a copy to the City Manager, at least two weeks before the employee's last working day. The letter should state the reason for resignation and the date of the last working day.
   (B)   (1)   Exit interview. Prior to the last working day, the employee may schedule an exit interview with the department head or designee and must complete any necessary resignation/termination/ retirement forms at the City Clerk's Office.
      (2)   Regardless of the separation reason, an employee must schedule an exit interview with the City Clerk. The interview will be conducted to discuss the circumstances regarding separation of employment and continuation of insurance policies (COBRA).
      (3)   Employees are expected to return all City of Farmer City property at the time of the exit interview.
