ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 607

   AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF FARMER CITY, DeWITT COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF FARMER CITY, DeWITT COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

      SECTION 1: That the City of Farmer City, DeWitt County, Illinois desires to codify and make more understandable and organized the various ordinances adopted by said City.

      SECTION 2: The corporate authorities of the City of Farmer City hereby find that it is in the best interests of the residents of said City of Farmer City and for their welfare that said Code of Ordinances be adopted.

      SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Farmer City is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance, to publish in pamphlet form and record as required by Illinois Law and to take such further action as required by Illinois Law and to take such further action as is necessary to complete annexation of the described tracts.

      SECTION 4: All provisions of Ordinances shall be as setforth in said Code and any portion or portions of Ordinances in conflict therewith are hereby expressly repealed.

      SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
