§ 32.022 PERFORMANCE REVIEWS.
   (A)   Employee performance reviews are to be completed by an employee's supervisor or departmental director annually (on or about the employee's anniversary date unless otherwise noted).
   (B)   The purposes of a performance review are:
      (1)   To evaluate an employee's job performance on a periodic basis, while offering praise, guidelines for improvement, and other feedback.
      (2)   To set goals for the employee being evaluated to ensure improved work performance and a more cohesive work environment.
      (3)   To provide an opportunity to discuss an employee's future development.
      (4)   To provide an opportunity for open communication between employees and their supervisors on a regular basis.
