Metal monuments a minimum of 24 inches in length shall be placed in the ground at all lot corners, intersections of streets, intersections of streets and alleys with platted boundary lines and at all points on street, alley and boundary lines where there is a change in direction or curvature. All monuments shall be properly set in the ground before the streets and alleys are accepted by the city.
