(A) No person shall operate a motorized golf cart without obtaining a permit from the city as provided in this section.
(B) Annual permits may be granted for a period of one year and may be renewed annually. Temporary permits may be granted for the period running from March 5 through September 30, inclusive, of any given calendar year and may be renewed each season.
(C) The cost of an annual permit shall be $50 per year. The cost of a temporary permit shall be $25 per season. Insurance coverage will be verified prior to the issuance of any permit.
(D) The city retains the right to refuse to issue and/or revoke any permit for any golf cart at any time for any violation of this subchapter or any other ordinance, rule, regulation or state or federal rule, regulation or statute. The completed application shall be maintained by the city.
