The corporate seal of the city shall be circular in form, and be so constructed as to impress upon paper the words, "Official Seal" in a circle formed by the words, "City Council of the City of Farmer City, Illinois. The seal shall be, and remain, in the custody of the City Clerk, and his successors in office, to be used by him in all cases provided for by the ordinances of the city, or the laws of the state; or any state or nation, when the use of the corporate seal of the city becomes necessary.
