331.41  SHORTCUTTING AT INTERSECTIONS.
   (a)   No person, being the operator of a motor vehicle, shall enter upon private property for the purpose of driving across such property between the abutting streets thereof.  Driving on such property without stopping for the purpose of the business thereon shall be prima-facie evidence of a violation of this section.

   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
