Whoever violates any provision of this Housing Code, or any rule or regulation promulgated thereunder, or fails to comply therewith or with any written notice or written order issued thereunder, or whoever refuses to permit entry by the Building Commissioner or other City department heads or their representatives at a reasonable hour, and whoever interferes with, obstructs or hinders such Commissioner while attempting to make such inspection, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment for not to exceed six months, or both. Each day such violation occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense.
