(a) Pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by the City, for the purpose of governing and regulating electrical installations in dwelling units, multi-family dwelling units, and accessory structure, commercial and industrial buildings and uses, that certain code known as the National Electric Code published by the National Fire Protection Association, the most recent edition adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards and referenced in the Residential Code of Ohio and the Ohio Building Code.
(b) Such Code is on file in the Division of Building, the office of the Clerk of Council, and the County law library, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as if fully set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the City.
