The registration shall be valid for one year after issuance. A fee of one hundred ten dollars ($110.00) shall be paid at the time of original issuance.
Ten dollars of the fee shall be allocated in an account for the Building Department use as deemed appropriate by the Building Commissioner.
(a) No person, corporation, partnership, firm or other business association required to be registered under the provisions of this chapter shall engage in the business of or act as a contractor except pursuant to a valid effective registration.
