1523.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Whoever violates the terms of a permit issued under this article, or submits a false application, shall be subject to the revocation of such permit. Revocation shall be issued by and in the discretion of the Fire Chief or his authorized representative upon proper investigation of facts and circumstances.
   (b)   It shall be a misdemeanor for any person making application for a permit to willfully make false statements with the intent of evading the requirements of this article. It also shall be a misdemeanor for any person to commence with open burning in the City without first obtaining a required permit from the Fire Chief or his authorized representative, or to proceed to open burn when a revocation notice of a previous permit has been issued. It also shall further be a misdemeanor for any owner or agent of an owner to continue with open burning under the provisions of Section 1523.02 of this article following the issuance of an order from the Fire Chief or his authorized representative that such open burning be extinguished. Each day a violation continues shall constitute a separate misdemeanor, each misdemeanor under this section shall be punishable by a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
