(a) The Board shall function in place of and have all authority and responsibility conferred upon the City Forestry Board (Ordinance 2005-15) and provided in Section 283.01 et seq. and the Board of Motor Vehicle Evaluation (Ordinance 2005-029A) and provided in Fairlawn City Code Section 660.07 et seq.
(b) The Board shall hear appeals of the decision of the Service Director as provided in Fairlawn City Code Section 678.06 and the Zoning Inspector as provided in Fairlawn City Code Section 660.07 and the Residential Chief Building Official as provided in Fairlawn City Code Sections 1516.01 through 1516.07 and 1566.01 through 1566.07 and shall conduct such other hearings and business and have such other authority as conferred by Council and directed by the Mayor.
