The Mission Statement of the Division of Parks and Recreation is hereby established and set forth as follows:
The mission of the Parks and Recreation Division is to provide opportunities to enhance the quality of life for the residential, business and neighboring communities through a variety of recreational, educational, cultural and health-related activities and events. The goals of each activity and special event are to encourage individual, community, economic and environmental benefits in a safe, meaningful and healthy environment.
