444.01   DEFINITIONS. (REPEALED)
   ( Editor's note: Section 444.01 was repealed as part of the 1988 updating and revision of these Codified Ordinances because violations of Ohio R.C. 4549.41 through 4549.46, from which Sections 444.01 and 444.05 through 444.09 were derived, were made felonies by the General Assembly, by Am. Sub. H.B. No. 382, effective March 19, 1987.)
444.02   POLICE MAY REMOVE IGNITION KEY.
   A law enforcement officer may remove the ignition key left in the ignition switch of an unlocked and unattended motor vehicle parked on a street or highway. The officer removing the key shall place notification upon the vehicle detailing his or her name and badge number, the place where the key may be reclaimed, and the procedure for reclaiming the key. The key shall be returned to the owner of the motor vehicle upon presentation of proof of ownership.

444.03   ILLEGAL SALE OR POSSESSION OF MASTER VEHICLE KEYS. (REPEALED)
   ( Editor's note: Section 444.03 was repealed as part of the 1989 updating and revision of this Traffic Code because the offense of illegal sale or possession of master vehicle keys was made a felony by the General Assembly. See Ohio R.C. 4549.042 and 4549.99(C).)
444.04   MOTOR VEHICLE WITH CONCEALED IDENTITY. (REPEALED)
   ( Editor's note: Section 444.04 was repealed as part of the 1989 updating and revision of this Traffic Code because the offense of tampering with motor vehicle identification numbers was made a felony by the General Assembly. See Ohio R.C. 4549.61 et seq. and 4549.99(F).)
