(a) The positions of Fire Chief, Medical Advisor, Records Custodian, and Part-Time Firefighters shall be designated as unclassified service; the position of Full-Time Deputy Fire Chief shall be designated as civil service, but outside of the bargaining unit; the positions of Full-Time Fire Lieutenant and Full-Time Firefighter/EMT-P and Administrative Secretary and those Part-Time employees who are considered intermittent Part-Time Firefighters shall be designated civil service.
