(a) The Deputy Inspector and Residential Building Inspector shall be a full-time position that is in the unclassified service and shall also be known as Ohio Residential Plans Examiner.
(b) The Deputy Inspector and Residential Building Inspector shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall perform duties as directed by the Building Commissioner.
(c) The compensation for the position of Deputy Inspector and Residential Building Inspector shall be determined by the Wage and Salary Plan of the City, and the position shall be eligible for overtime and such other benefits commensurate with the position as authorized by Council and approved by the Mayor.
