(a) The provisions of Section 1020.01 notwithstanding, each water main and connection thereto shall be constructed in accordance with standards prescribed in the Water Service Agreements, between the City of Akron, the City of Fairlawn and Summit County. Sanitary sewers shall be constructed in accordance with standards prescribed by or for the Summit County Sanitary Engineer or the City of Fairlawn Construction and Materials Specifications, current edition.
(b)
Improvements described in subsection (a) hereof shall be subject to the inspection and approval of the City of Akron Water Supply Division, The City of Fairlawn or the Summit County Sanitary Engineer, as the case may be, and further subject to the inspection and approval of the Fairlawn City Engineer if such improvements affect public grounds and ways within the City. The City Engineer may designate the Summit County Sanitary Engineer or the Akron City Water Division Engineer to fulfill these requirements.
