§ 52.076 EXTENSION POLICY; MAINS ONLY.
   (A)   (1)   Extension of mains and service outside of the city limits shall be subject to approval of the Council and shall also be subject to all of the rules and regulations and provisions as provided in this chapter or as may be amended.
      (2)   All mains, lines and equipment shall immediately become the property of the city.
   (B)   Where main installation is desired when funds for extensions are not available and/or when the distance is in excess of 100 feet per customer noted above, the extension can be made if the applicant will deposit with the city the estimated cost of making the extension, less 100 feet when funds are available, or the entire amount when funds are not available. The amounts so deposited shall be refunded to the customer or customers at the rate of $0.80 per Mcf annually, until the total deposit has been refunded, or until eight annual payments have been made, whichever event occurs first. The deposit shall be interest-free. In the event that the amount deposited is greater or less than the actual cost of the extension, the excess or deficiency shall be corrected prior to giving service.
   (C)   The above applies to mains. See § 52.006 for service lines.
