Parkways are hereby established on each of the residence streets of the city, the parkways to be of the following widths, respectively: on the streets of the city which are 80 feet in width, parkways shall be of the width of 18 feet on either side of the street measuring from the lot line; on streets which are of the width of 70 feet, parkways shall be of the width of 16 feet on either side of the street measuring from the lot line; on streets which are 60 feet in width, the parkways shall be of the width of 15 feet on either side of the street, measuring from the lot line; on streets of the width of 50 feet, the parkways shall be of the width of ten feet on either side of the street, measuring from the lot line; on streets of the width of 40 feet or less the parkways shall be of the width of eight feet on either side of the street, measuring from the lot line.
