921.08 WATER RATES.

   Water rates and minimum charges for customers located within the corporate limits of the City are hereby established as shown in Appendices B, C, D, E and F which are incorporated herein by reference. Existing Appendix E water rates shall remain in effect until January 1, 2021. Water rates and minimum charges shall be calculated on a monthly basis. Water customers located outside the corporate limits of the City shall be billed under the rates established in Appendices B, C, D, E and F, plus an additional fifty percent (50%) of each monthly bill. In-City residential water customers of the City of Fairfield who are provided wastewater treatment service by an entity other than the City of Fairfield shall be allowed a monthly credit against their monthly water charges so that their total water and wastewater charges are the same as those paid by in-City residential customers who use both City of Fairfield water and wastewater service, provided that such credit shall not exceed the actual amount of the customer’s water charges in any month. The Finance Director is authorized and directed to calculate and apply the credit as described herein.
