921.07 APPLICATION FOR WATER SERVICE; FEE.

   (a)   Application for water service shall be made by the owner or authorized agent. Water will be turned on by an authorized employee of the Water Division after the application has been filed at the Utility Collection Office. The Water Division shall not be responsible for any inaccuracy in billing information due to erroneous information given by the owner or authorized person. If the applicant is not the owner of the premises for which a water service application is made, a deposit of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) shall be made to the Utility Collection Office which shall be refunded when the account is paid in full and closed.

   (b)   No application for water service shall be allowed and no water will be supplied to any applicant or customer if that person, firm or corporation is indebted to the Water Division for water supplied, work done, material furnished or penalties imposed. This shall apply whether the indebtedness was incurred at the premises for which the application is made or at any other premises supplied by the Water Division.
