909.05 STREET LIGHTING.

   Residents who desire street lighting or additional street lighting in a neighborhood of the City shall file a written petition requesting such lighting with the City Manager, The City Manager, after consultation with the Police Chief and Crime Prevention Officer, shall determine whether or not street lighting or additional street lighting is necessary for security, crime prevention or traffic safety in the area. It shall be the policy of the City to pay for the cost of street lighting which the City Manager has determined is necessary for security, crime prevention or traffic safety in accordance with this section.
