725.12 NOTICE PROHIBITING PEDDLERS OR SOLICITORS; PEDDLING OR SOLICITING CONTRARY TO POSTED SIGN OR NOTICE.

   No person engaging or attempting to engage in peddling or soliciting shall enter or remain on the premises after being requested to leave, knock at the door, or ring the doorbell of any residence, place of business or premises in the City upon which is clearly displayed a sign or other visible notice that reads "no solicitors" or that otherwise clearly purports to prohibit peddlers, vendors or solicitors, unless such person has been specifically invited upon the premises by an occupant thereof.
