717.01 DEFINITIONS.

   (a)   "Commercial garbage haulers" means persons engaged in hauling garbage as hereinafter defined for a fee, charge or other compensation, or who transport garbage by truck except from premises other than their own.

   (b)   "Garbage" means all refuse matter; animal, fruit or vegetable, liquid or otherwise, and includes all waste material and by-products of the kitchen, hospital and other food service operations; and all noxious, deleterious and harmful waste products of any commercial or industrial operations including but not limited to synthetics, plastics and oils and their derivatives of every kind, nature and description.

   (c)   "Person" means any public or private corporation, individual, partnership or other entity. (Ord. 15-69. Passed 4-14-69.)
