533.18 REGULATIONS FOR ESTABLISHMENTS OFFERING LIVE DANCING PERFORMANCES.
   (a)   Any establishment offering live dancing performances shall adhere to the following regulations:
(1)   The dancing performance shall be confined to a clearly defined stage or platform area that is discernibly elevated above or below the normal floor elevation of the establishment.
(2)   Between the stage or platform and the normal floor elevation of the establishment there shall be a clearly defined and delineated three foot "buffer" area or space between the aforementioned stage or platform in which customers are customarily seated and/or served.
(3)   Said "buffer" zone shall be clearly and permanently delineated from normal floor elevation by rail, rope, transparent enclosure or other discernible physical barrier(s).
(4)   All dancing, live entertainment and performances shall be confined to the stage or platform area as defined herein.
(5)   At no time during any dance, live entertainment or performance shall the patrons or the dancer, entertainer, or performer be permitted to enter or encroach on the aforementioned "buffer" zone.
(6)   Patrons are prohibited from co-mingling or touching the entertainers on the stage or platform.
(7)   No patron shall throw, lift or drop anything across the "buffer" zone and onto or over the stage or platform.
(8)   No dancer, entertainer, or performer shall throw, lift, or drop anything across the "buffer" zone or onto or over the stage or platform.
   (b)   No person maintaining, owning or operating an establishment offering live dancing performances shall suffer or permit any person to act in violation of subsection (a) hereof.
   (c)   Whoever violates any subsection hereof is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. (Ord. 129-96. Passed 9-9-96.)
