170.01 MEMBERSHIP AND TERMS.

   (a)   The City of Fairfield Environmental Commission shall consist of nine members appointed for three year terms by Council (except that beginning April 1, 2008, three of the members will have one year terms, three shall have two year terms and three shall have three year terms and thereafter all members shall have three year terms.) The members shall be appointed by City Council as follows:

      (1)   Eight members to be selected and appointed by the Council.

      (2)   One member nominated by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and appointed by Council.

   (b)   In accordance with Section 11.02 of the Fairfield City Charter, all members of the City of Fairfield Environmental Commission shall be qualified electors of the City of Fairfield. The City Manager shall designate one City staff person to attend meetings of the Environmental Commission. The staff person shall not be a voting member of the Environmental Commission. (Ord. 56-09.
