143.05 UNIFORM ALLOWANCE.

   All sworn members of the Police Department whose position is not included in a collective bargaining unit shall be provided a uniform allowance payable at the beginning of each calendar year which shall be equal to the amount of any uniform allowance last negotiated with any collective bargaining unit within the Police Department. If a police officer receives the allowance and voluntarily terminates his service other than by retirement under the police pension fund, during the year, a prorated portion of the allowance must be repaid to the City. This section does not apply to any position in the Police Department which is included in any collective bargaining unit.
