139.01 INVESTMENT OF CITY FUNDS.

The Finance Director is hereby authorized to invest and deposit funds of the City. All such funds received and the income derived therefrom, is to be returned to the specific account from which the funds received originated. In the event that the funds are commingled for purposes of investment, upon the return of the funds to the account from which they originated, the Finance Director is also to return a proportionate share of the income derived from the total investment, to the specific account from which the fund originated.
