126.06 COUNCIL APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURES.
   The purchase of contractual services, commodities and capital outlay that are not identified in an annual budget, when the cost thereof exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), must be approved by Council resolution. Expenditures for the purposes and amounts budgeted for contractual services, commodities and capital outlay that are identified in an original annual budget approved as part of an annual appropriation ordinance adopted by Council are considered authorized expenditures and do not require additional approval by Council.
