Except as provided in this chapter, the 2022 California Existing Building Code (Part 10 of Title 24) based on the 2021 International Existing Building Code as published by the International Code Council, shall become the Existing Building Code of the City of Eureka. Regulations for the seismic retrofit of existing buildings in the city shall be as found in Appendix A of the Existing Building Code. The California Existing Building Code shall be on file for public examination in the office of the Building Official.
