§ 152.18 REVIEW BY COUNCIL.
   (A)   In cases other than those governed by § 152.17 of this subchapter, the Director of Community Development, the Planning Commission, or the City Council may set a public hearing on any request for the naming or renaming of any street or other facility, subject to such notice as they deem appropriate.
   (B)   (1)   Following the decision of the Planning Commission under §§ 152.16 and 152.17 of this subchapter, the Director of Community Development shall prepare a report of the Planning Commission's action, summarizing the public input, if any, and the reasons for the Commission's recommendation. Such report shall be submitted to the City Council at its first regular meeting occurring at least 15 days after the Commission's action. The City Clerk shall provide notification of the date and approximate time of the Council's action to any person who requests such notification.
      (2)   The City Council may affirm the Commission's decision, remand the matter back to the Planning Commission for further consideration or made its own decision on the matter.
   (C)   Any person who desires may address the Council prior to the Council's action or may submit such opposition in writing prior to such time.
