It shall be unlawful for any person to destroy, deface, or mutilate any street planting or street planting tub, planting box, or any other similar container in which street planting is planted, or to attach or place any rope, wire, sign, poster, or handbill or any other thing to or on any street planting, street planting tub, planting box, or any other similar container in which street planting is planted, or to cause or permit any wire charged with electricity to come in contact with any such street planting.
