§ 53.19 INTERRUPTIONS IN SERVICE.
   The city shall not be liable for damages which may result from interruptions in service from a cause beyond the control of the city. The city reserves the right to interrupt service at any time for the purposes of making repairs or extensions to the water system or for any other purpose. Whenever possible, and as time permits, all customers affected shall be notified prior to making such shutdowns. The city shall not be liable for interruptions, shortages, or insufficiencies of supply or for any loss or damage occasioned thereby if caused by accident, act of God, fire, strike, riot, war, or any other cause not within the control of the city.
