§ 32.060 FIRE DEPARTMENT.
   Under the administration of the City Manager, the Fire Department is created and established. The Fire Chief, subject to the approval of the City Manager, will organize and maintain such divisions in the Department as in his or her judgment the operations may require, and be responsible for the direction and control of all functions assigned to the Department. In the event that the city is without fire protection services or wishes to engage a third party, the City Manager may, subject to the approval of the City Council, establish a fire department or contract with a third party to provide fire protection services for the city.
