“Garage sale” shall mean any temporary private sale, held in a residential use district, of personal property and merchandise which must be intended solely for domestic or household use, which is open to the public, and shall include but not be limited to yard sales, garage sales, porch sales, patio sales, rummage sales, estate sales and the like.
