1575.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this section:
   (a)   "Bonfire" means an outdoor fire utilized for ceremonial purposes.
   (b)   "Fire Department" means the Fire Department of the City.
   (c)   "Ohio Environmental Protection Agency" means the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Director, agencies delegated authority by the Director pursuant to Ohio R.C. 3704.03 or the Chief of any Ohio Environmental Protection Agency District Office.
   (d)   "Open burning" means the burning of any materials wherein products of combustion are emitted directly into the ambient air without passing through a stack or chimney from an enclosed chamber. For the purpose of this definition, a chamber shall be regarded as enclosed, when, during the time combustion occurs, only apertures, ducts, stacks, flues or chimneys necessary to provide combustion air and permit the escape of exhaust gas are open.
   (e)   "Recreational fire" means an outdoor fire utilized to cook food for human consumption.
