The Administrative Director shall perform such specific duties as may be required of him or her by the Mayor or Council.
He or she shall have general supervision and administration of the functions and affairs of the Department of General Administration. He or she shall be in charge of such divisions and subdepartments as the Mayor may authorize.

If, at any time, and for whatever reason, there is a vacancy in the position of Administrative Director, then all duties and responsibilities assigned to such officer in these Codified Ordinances shall be performed by the Director of Service of the City.
