Each person who or which desires to perform construction work within the City, which construction work customarily involves the services of persons in the skilled trades, including, but not limited to, plumbers, carpenters, bricklayers, iron workers, glaziers, painters and electricians, shall, as a pre-condition for working within the City on any work reasonably valued in excess of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for the entire project, regardless of the individual subcontractor(s), comply with this chapter. Further, as a condition for work in the City, each individual or firm shall respond to any and all requests of the Prevailing Wage Coordinator for information bearing on the requirements of this chapter.

Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
