(A) School zone established.
(1) That the city establishes a portion of Commonwealth Avenue and Baker Street as a school zone and requests that the Commonwealth of Kentucky take any action necessary to also establish said school zone.
(2) Specifically, the City of Erlanger establishes the following school zone, placement of flasher lights and speed limitations as set forth herein: that a school zone is established along with placement of flasher lights, for the following portions of Commonwealth Avenue and Baker Street
(a) On Commonwealth Avenue 660 feet from the intersection of Baker Street, extending both directions from said intersections.
(b) On all of Baker Street based on its length of only 350 feet.
(B) Speed limits. That during school hours the speed limit in the school zone established pursuant to division (A) shall be 25 miles per hour. Any violations of this section shall be subject to the penalties set forth in KRS 189.990(1).
