Upon satisfactory application being made to the village clerk, and after having paid the required license fee to the village treasurer, the village clerk shall issue the license. The fee for the license shall be ten dollars ($10.00).
Provided further, that no fee shall be charged for any amusement, exhibition or carnival where the same is sponsored by or given for the benefit of any religious, educational, charitable, social or fraternal organization. (1976 Code)
