9-6-1: SCOPE:
The regulations set forth in this chapter, or set forth elsewhere in this title when referred to in this chapter, are the district regulations in the D industrial district. (Ord. 215, 9-17-1962)
9-6-2: USE REGULATIONS:
A building or premises shall be used only for the following purposes:
Any use permitted in the C central business district.
Blacksmith shop.
Bottling works.
Coal yards.
Dyeing and cleaning establishments.
Industrial and manufacturing plants, where the operations are conducted in one or more buildings and not more than ten percent (10%) of the lot or tract is used for the open storage of products, materials or equipment.
Lumber or building materials yard.
Milk distributing station.
Printing plants.
Public utility substations and facilities.
Warehouses and storage plants.
Wholesale establishments.
Wholesale storage of oil, gasoline or other petroleum products. (Ord. 215, 9-17-1962)
9-6-3: HEIGHT REGULATIONS:
No building shall exceed three (3) stories nor shall it exceed forty five feet (45') in height. (Ord. 215, 9-17-1962)
9-6-4: PARKING REGULATIONS:
The parking regulations for uses permitted in the B outlying business district shall apply to such uses when located in the D industrial district. Parking space shall be provided on the lot or in a building on the lot adequate to accommodate the cars of the employees of any of the uses permitted in this district, as well as the trucks and other vehicles owned by or in the custody of the establishment. 9-6-5: AREA REGULATIONS:
   (A)   Front Yard: The front yard regulations are the same as those in the C central business district.
   (B)   Side Yard: The side yard regulations for dwellings are the same as those in the A residence district. In all other cases a side yard is not required except on the side of a lot adjoining a dwelling district, in which case there shall be a side yard of not less than ten feet (10').
   (C)   Rear Yard: The rear yard regulations for dwellings are the same as in the A residence district. In all other cases a rear yard is not required except where a lot abuts upon a dwelling district, in which case there shall be a rear yard of not less than twenty feet (20'). (Ord. 215, 9-17-1962)
9-6-6: INTENSITY OF USE:
When a lot is improved with a dwelling the intensity of use regulations shall be the same as those required in the A residence district. When living facilities are erected above stores there shall be a lot area per family of not less than three thousand (3,000) square feet. Where a lot of record contains less than three thousand (3,000) square feet it may contain living facilities for not more than one family. (Ord. 215, 9-17-1962)
