OFFENSES BY OR AGAINST MINORS

5-5-1: Prevention Of Tobacco Use By Persons Under Twenty One (21) Years Of Age And Sale And Distribution Of Tobacco Products Act
The Illinois Prevention of Tobacco Use by Persons Under 21 Years of Age and Sale and Distribution of Tobacco Products Act, 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes 675/1,1.5 and 2, as may be amended from time to time by the State of Illinois (the "Act"), is hereby adopted in its entirety, by reference, as though fully and completely set forth in this section. Any other section of the Erie Municipal Code of the Village in conflict with the Act as amended are hereby declared void and ineffective and are hereby repealed. Any person, firm or corporation that violates any provision of the Act adopted by this reference shall, upon conviction, be subject to a minimum fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and the maximum fine shall not exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00).
