The City Manager, upon receipt of an application for a license required by this chapter, and upon receipt of the proper fee and bond, shall issue a license to the applicant stating the period and kind of performance and the place named in the application. The license fee for a performance, ride or game for which no admission is charged shall be ten dollars ($10.00) per day. For those for which admission fees are charged, the license fee shall be the greater of either twenty dollars ($20.00) per day or two dollars ($2.00) per day per ride, game, booth or performance for which an admission fee is charged. Licenses for performances sponsored by or benefiting local charitable or civic purposes, including, but not limited to, those conducted by churches, fraternal organizations, clubs and veterans' associations, shall be issued without a charge being made therefor.
