804.02 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE; FEE; RENEWAL; TRANSFERABILITY.
   (a)   Application. Whoever desires to open, maintain or operate a billiard or pool room in the City shall file a written and signed application with the Director of Finance to do so, setting forth therein the location of such proposed billiard or pool room, the number of billiard and/or pool tables and containing the names of all persons interested or concerned therein.
   (b)   Fee. If the room named in the application conforms to the requirements set forth in this chapter, upon payment of twenty dollars ($20.00) for the first table and one dollar ($1.00) for each additional table specified in the application, the Director, with the approval of Council, shall issue to the applicant a license to open,. maintain and operate a billiard or pool room at the location and containing the number of tables as set forth in the application, for a period of one year from the date of the license, subject to the provisions of this chapter.
   (c)   Renewal. At the expiration of any license, upon written application as aforesaid and upon payment of the aforesaid fee, the Director shall issue a new license for a period of one year in accordance with the provisions of this section.
   (d)   License Nontransferable. Such license shall not be transferable and shall be authority for a billiard or poolroom only at the location and for the number of tables named in the application, provided, however, that should a licensee wish to remove the billiard or pool room to another location, the Director shall endorse permission for such removal, provided that the new room conforms to the requirements set forth in this chapter.
   (e)   Additional Tables. Should any licensee desire to place or operate more tables than are specified in his or her application, he or she may do so upon paying the Director one dollar ($1.00) for each additional table. Licenses for such added tables expire at the expiration of the original license.
