242.12 SCHOOLING OF OFFICERS AND FIRE FIGHTERS.

The Fire Chief, upon prior authorization and approval by the City Manager, may from time to time send any of the officers and fire fighters of the Department of Fire to schools of instruction designed to promote the efficiency of fire fighters and may pay their necessary expenses from the funds used for the maintenance and operation of the Fire Department.
