(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) As a penalty for the violation of §§ 70.01 through 70.11 of this chapter, any person found guilty of a violation of any of the provisions thereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. The fine is to be defined in M.S. § 609.033, as it may be amended from time to time, and laws amendatory thereto; except that, a violation of the speeding (§ 70.02 of this chapter) or U turn (§ 70.03 of this chapter) sections of this chapter shall be construed to be a petty misdemeanor.
